Who We Are

One national team.
Aligned for your success.

Four things we will not budge on

We do what we say we will do

Ask our partners why they stay and this is the first thing most of them say. It sounds like the lowest possible bar. In this industry it is not.

We provide complete transparency

You see the live data, unedited, the same as we do. You can go out on the road with one of our reps without a manager riding along. Nothing gets staged for your benefit.

Our team must believe in your products

Our reps have to back your products to the buying team, and the store manager. Belief is not something we issue with the uniform, so we don’t take on products we can’t get behind.

It has to work commercially for both sides

A brilliant product that cannot support a field program is not a fit. We would rather tell you that on day one than take your money and disappoint you.

Our People

A flat structure and extensive experience from both sides of the desk

Slide4

Around 300 people work for Sales Link Group, and more than 50 of them have been with us for more than 10 years, some over 20 years.

As owners, we make sure we know everybody by name. There is no layer of regional management sitting between the people in store and the people who run the business, which is why you will find the leadership team in your quarterly review rather than an account manager reading from a deck.

Several of our senior people came out of retailer head office as buyers and store managers. When your category review is coming up, we know how that process works, because some of us used to be on the other side of that desk.

What you can expect from this Australian-owned business

Our owners are actively involved in your brand

Most of the large providers in this market are internationally owned. Their owners have no involvement in your account and never will.

You become a partner, not a customer

We are as committed to your distribution and your growth as you are. That is not a slogan, it is how the agreements are structured.

Your program is uniquely built for your brand

Every brand is different, so every retail program we run is different. Nothing is templated; your strategy and plan is tailored specifically to your needs.

Recently a well-known multinational told us that they ended a long relationship with one of the large national providers. They never received a single phone call asking why. That will never happen with us.

When we are not the right fit

Most providers will not discuss this. We would rather that we both find this out up front, rather than in six months’ time.

If our values do not line up

How you treat people and how you do business matters to us. If that does not match, the partnership will not work no matter how good the numbers look.

If the commercials do not stack up for both sides

Sometimes the honest answer is that a field program cannot pay for itself at your current volume. We will say so, and we will tell you what would need to change.

If you need guaranteed coverage of every single store

There are pockets of regional Australia where we cannot promise 100% coverage on a national layout. Realistically nobody in this industry can, and we would rather be straight with you about it.

CAREERS

We are always looking for good people

Some of our team have been here twenty years. Ask them why.
Merchandising suits people who like getting out of the house, working on their own initiative, and finishing the day knowing exactly what they got done. We hire right across the country, and we are particularly short of people in regional areas.
